I design and build custom web products for teams that have outgrown generic tools. When workflows, data, permissions, or integrations become specific to the business, the product needs a structure designed around it rather than a collection of workarounds.
The goal is to avoid complexity and instead create a foundation that is easier to understand, maintain, and extend as the product evolves.
Why Architecture Matters
Projects dont tend to become difficult due to one bad decision. They become that way because each new feature solves an immediate problem without taking the rest of the system into account. Which then leads to a structure that no longer matches the problem it is meant to solve.
As a project grows, the business rules can end up scattered, data duplicated, unstable integrations can become fragile, and what looks like a small change in one area can affect an unrelated one.
A deliberate architecture sets clear boundaries between the interface, business logic, data, and external services. So that each part can change as needed.
What I Deliver
Frontend Architecture
Responsive, accessible interfaces built from reusable components, clear content hierarchy, and predictable interaction patterns. Focusing not only on how the product looks, but how clearly it is for users.
Common use cases: Marketing platforms, dashboards, internal tools, customer portals, and content-rich products.
APIs & Business Logic
Backend services that handle authentication, permissions, workflows, integrations, and product-specific rules without pushing business logic into the interface.
Built for: Products with multiple user roles, custom operations, external services, or a shared backend for web and mobile clients.
Data Modeling & Database Design
Relational data structures shaped around how the business stores, changes, and reports information. I account for data consistency, relationships, auditability, migrations, and future changes from the beginning.
Essential for: Operational platforms, reporting systems, internal tools, and products where data integrity is central to the business.
Integrations & Automation
Connections between third-party services, internal tools, payment platforms, notification systems, and operational workflows.
Common use cases: Teams that want to reduce repetitive work or connect systems that currently operate in isolation.
Performance, SEO & Deployment Foundations
Technical baseline improvements for fast load times, reliable releases, production monitoring, and easier maintenance after launch.
Essential for: Products where performance, search visibility, and deployment confidence directly affect results.
How I Work
01: Discovery
I start by understanding the users, workflows, constraints, existing systems, and business goals. Defining what should and should not be built.
02: Technical Direction
I turn the agreed scope into an implementation plan covering the system architecture, data models, integrations, component responsibilities, delivery phases, and major technical risks.
03: Iterative Delivery
The product is built in reviewable increments so important decisions can be tested while they are still inexpensive to change.
This also makes progress visible and prevents too much of the system from depending on an unverified assumption.
04: Launch & Handoff
Before launch, I test all critital workflows, review the build, document important decisions, and prepare the project for deployment and ongoing development.
The handoff includes the context needed to understand how the system works, not only the code required to run it.
Technical Approach
The stack is selected according to the product requirements, team, deployment environment, and maintenance needs. Every dependency should have a clear role in the product.
A Good Fit If
- Your current website or application has become difficult to change without affecting other areas.
- Your workflows no longer fit the limitations of generic software.
- Your product requires an API, authentication, permissions, multiple user roles, or third-party integrations.
- You want to replace a prototype or collection of workarounds with a maintainable system.
- You need an engineer who can connect frontend, backend, data, integrations, and deployment instead of treating them as separate problems.
